MINUTES OF THE VMC MEETING HELD ON 20TH AUGUST,2009
A meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee was held on 20th August, 2009 at 1000 hrs in the Principal’s Chamber. DIG, ITBP Sh M S Bhurji, Chairman, VMC, chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by the following members.

The Principal extended warm welcome to the Chairman and members. He, then, apprised the committee of the achievements of the Vidyalaya in Scholastic and Non Scholastic areas including various competitions organized by the Vidyalaya.
In his brief report, the Principal Dr Y K Singh highlighted the students’ achievements in Academics, Games & Sports, Science and Social Science Exhibition, Steps taken for Strengthening of Primary Education, Competitions held such as letter writing, G.K., Mathematics and Science Olympiads. He told the committee that the Annual Inspection of the Vidyalaya was a grand success. The inspection team was headed by Sh R B Meena, Education Officer, KVS(CR), Chandigarh. After this the agenda points were taken up for discussion one by one.

Development of Sports Infrastructure:
Purchase of Refrigerator, Computers, UPS, Furniture, Lab Equipments, Air Conditioner for Computer room & Principal’s room etc.
Regarding Permanent Electricity Connection to the Vidyalaya.
The Chairman very generously agreed to spare work force or arrange machine mower for cutting the grass so that the safety and security of children on campus is ensured.
Regarding Condemnation of goods.
The Chairman very pleasingly agreed to extend the bus facility for educational excursion to Pinjore, Chandigarh, Mohali and adjacent places such as Chhatbir Zoo etc.
Medical check up of students shall be done soon by a team of doctors from ITBP.
Presentation of Cultural Items on Raising Day of ITBP on 24th October,2009.
The Chairman expected presentation of at least 03 beautiful items by the students of KV, ITBP, Bhanu on the Raising Day of ITBP on 24th October, 2009 to be organised in BTC, Bhanu. The Principal assured colourful presentation of cultural items on this raising day. The music teacher has been asked to select and prepare items for presentation.
Mr S C Sharma, the teacher member requested the Chairman to get Sign Boards installed on both sides of the highway outside school indicating the existence of school and presence of children so that the Traffic slows down. The Chairman okayed it immediately and also agreed to get a Rain Shelter Constructed near to the Vidyalaya gate along the road as suggested by another Teacher representative Mrs Jatinderjit Kaur.
The meeting took place in a very cordial atmosphere and placed on record ‘the readiness to help for a generous cause’ spirit shown by Hon’ble Chairman, VMC and DIG, ITBP, Bhanu Sh M S Bhurji. The Vidyalaya will definitely progress under his benevolent patronship.
