Computers in Growth and Development of Children |

Computers are used in all the walks of life because in today and tomorrow's world computer is inevitable. In this regard, K.V. ITBP, BTC Bhanu has a well-equipped computer lab having 12 computers.
Computer education imparted by a qualified Instructor is preparing the children of the school to be computer literate citizens of tomorrow who can render the required services to the country. |
From Class III onwards children are provided with the basic knowledge of computers. School is equipped with many CDs of Stories, Rhymes & Spoken English for these little Angels. They use it as a tool of entertainment and knowledge.
Besides this students of Secondary classes are taught with the help of Educational CDs. They are provided with the basic knowledge of Internet. School provides Internet facility to the children for education and information. They access different websites to gather the information, which they use for their projects and Exhibitions in subjects like Social Science, Science, Hindi, English and Maths. |

Work Experience |

Work Experience Department has its own significance in the Vidyalaya as it promotes creative skills, aesthetic sense and dignity of labour among the students. Through hobby classes, various activities have been taken up to draw out creative latent talents of the students. Various enchanting items adorn the department such as various types of paintings, variety of lamp shades, murals, calligraphy, photo frames, papier machie, aquarium, clay modelling, origami, paper weights, gel candles, decorative tray and variety of decorative flowers made from organdie, duplex paper, ribbon and stockings. |
ART |

Art is the expression of an artist. Art has no language. It is appreciated and perceived through senses. It is an outcome of an artist's emotions, attitude and thinking. One can easily express himself through art. The use of colours adds life to the work of an artist. Students are taught art so that they learn to express themselves through it and learn the significance of colours in life. Scenes from the imagination help students to improve their creativity and sense of colouring. Paper machie work and glass painting is also taught. |

A well equipped Junior Science lab operating in the Vidyalaya aims at arousing curiosity, generating interest and developing Scientific Aptitude in the students of the School. The Laboratory work caters to the Child's inquisitive nature to explore the environment around him. |
He learns to systematically plan, record data and come to a logical conclusion with the teacher playing the role of a facilitator. He is thus prepared to face real life problem, solve them and be a successful person in life.

Maths Lab |

CBSE has endeavored to launch the idea of Mathematics Lab in schools to facilitate effective learning of Maths. KV, ITBP, Bhanu has developed a Maths Lab to facilitate the teaching of certain concepts and skills which students otherwise find difficult to understand. Geo Board has proved to be very useful in teaching learning properties of circle and finding Areas of different geometrical figures. Paper folding activity has facilitated the learning of orthocentre, Incentre, circumcentre, centroid etc. Triangle Inequality, Mid point Theorem, Pythagoras Theoram can be easily remembered through activity based teaching. Pyramid, Prism, Tetraredron can be understood more easily through models. Activity based teaching encourages team work. Students in groups are allowed to talk, think, discuss and create mathematics. This modifies their personality.
Fear of Maths will soon be a thing of the past. In fact, learning of Maths is going to be fun.

The well-equipped school library is an ocean of knowledge, which provides the students reference books, storybooks, general books on variety of subjects, and journals and magazines besides newspapers. It helps to develop reading habit among students and keeps them abreast with the latest developments.

It proliferates good will, unity, harmony and happiness in human beings. Students are imparted training in singing songs of all languages. Teaching of music enhances their vocal and instrumental skills. |
